Two investments that I’m hoping will pay off.
So recently I bought David
Lucas Burge’s perfect pitch and while I haven’t actually had time to sit down
and go through all of the lessons, I will say by listening to the first cd the
guy seems to know what he’s talking about. I’m not really sure whether or not
I’ll obtain it by listening or whether or it’s something that I
already have. I mean, I can hear a note and match it fairly easy, but I haven’t
actually taken the time to sit down and identify all notes in a chord. For
instance being able to hear a chord and be like well that’s an A#, and theres a
G, and so forth. I think it’s similar to figuring out all the letters that make
up a word. Once you’ve seen it, it’s easier to spell. Or once you start spelling
words it gets easier to figure out how other words are spelled and so forth.
Sounds kind of funny, but yeah its like im learning to color all over again.
Another investment I made is with Brett Manning’s
singing success program. This is by far one of my greatest
investments to date! The lessons are straightforward and help you learn how to
use your voice to its fullest potential. I haven’t spent as much time as I
should be on them, but I’ve made some interesting discoveries. I need to set
aside a little more time each week to spend working on my voice, but my schedule
has just been so all over the place lately. Anyways, if you haven’t heard of
Brett Manning, go to

Hey what’s up everyone? So the new site is up and
running with changes still being added. Feel free to check it
out! It’s going to be a very busy 6 months for me while I’m still
working on my debut and doing Melomania stuff as well. As of right now I have
two songs on the debut in the works - “deep ocean blue” and “picture frame”. We
have a phenomenal drummer coming in Saturday to lay down the tracks for those
two songs. Then the week after that I will be laying down scratch
for two new ones. I’ll keep you guys updated with videos from the
studio and you can check out the progress of melomania’s stuff on our website
www.themelomaniacs.com. Well I have to get back to work for
now, I’ll write more later.
